This is a short video. http://youtu.be/weoLyqXTnZg
I made this video so you don't make the same mistake I did. At this time, there is no skills to change a ship/mod calibration. This means, you may not be able to fit a rig even if you have this skills.
BTW I was mad when I made this. But I meant it when I said people will leave this game if CCP doesn't listen to their players. I've seen it with many companies (like Apple). (Keep in mind. I never said the company will go away. Apple and the many other companies that didn't/don't listen won't completely go away) Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not. Even *I* knew almost from the start to rightclick>info everything, and has NOTHING to do with CCP not listening to their player base.
the ETF is a 3rd party tool.
The show info. Why would someone care/know what calibration means? I don't really deal with rigs. So, how would a noob (or a noob dealing with rigs) know what to look out for?
Anyways, if you search this problem you can find people asking to fix it every so often. Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not. Please check out the Rookies in EVE video playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLioOFeHwQV5yNk2vpz8wX9hihLVQEIKLt |

Just because I'm new doesn't mean I'm stupid or incapable of asking for help.
Why would you know if it's worth while to ask. Also I am PO because there is nothing in game telling anyone who just starts to pay attention to that. Hell is around every turn. What I am PO about is there is nothing in game showing anyone this. More so. There is nothing in game saying there is no skills to fix this problem.
BTW I am still PO about it because it just happen. So I might have posted this to fast. Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not. Please check out the Rookies in EVE video playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLioOFeHwQV5yNk2vpz8wX9hihLVQEIKLt |

I knew about 3rd party fitting tools. I don't like using EVE Mon, EFT, etc. I will go out of my way to tell others to use it. But, it's kinda useless for me.

Posting Rage Posts will get you flamed and trolled
One of the reasons why I posted this video is to show newer players what not to do. In fact, I found in RL knowing others mistakes can help you out more. Obviously a newer player can learn from this critical mistake.
The trolls come out no matter what. They tend to say something, then just repeat what the last person said. Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not. Please check out the Rookies in EVE video playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLioOFeHwQV5yNk2vpz8wX9hihLVQEIKLt |

Also OP, the box that popped up with the warning, The only way to remove this rig is by destroying it. didn't make you think twice about what you were doing and make you a bit more curious about those mysterious rig things?
You claim to want to help people learn things about the game but yet it sounds like your unwilling to learn about the game yourself...
The destroying it wasn't the problem. A lot of people got this, but you might of overlooked it. The problem was within the calibration. It's one of (if not the only) thing in the game that you can't skill up in. What really made me mad was CCP wasn't paying attention to it's players. I've listed this problem so they can add 1 more to the list of people that wants this to change. Like below on this. (I even linked some older post from 2006 and 9 of people asking about this. There is even people on that post that agrees with me.) https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3351422#post3351422
The entire reason why I posted here was to let newer players see my mistake and learn from it.
BTW, this is the last post I am making in this thread. I don't mind the trolls (in fact they keep bumping up this every time they post something on here), but I can already see them coming out.
O and for those of you who says I know more than the OP. And? At least I am brave enough to show and admit my mistakes. While I haven't seen any other guide showing you their mistakes they made so you can learn from them. Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not.
